I hadn't been to Webber's in a while and I can't remember why, as I definitely plan to return after my dinner this evening with a friend. Upon entering the dining area of Webber's, you are met with a beautiful waterfront view. We opted to dine inside with a window overlooking the water because it was rather windy with beautiful temperatures in the early 70s. As we watched menus blow away on the outdoor patio, we knew we'd made the right choice for tonight- though would be lovely to dine on the patio on a less windy day. Our server promptly greeted us and allowed us time to visit and peruse the menu. She was very attentive. My friend ordered the popular Perch entree with a salad and baked potato. I ordered the broiled shrimp and scallops entree with the house-pickled beets (as my salad) and a baked potato. One thing I noticed from the menu is that there are additional charges if you order sour cream with your baked potato or if you order an upgraded salad. It annoys me somewhat when restaurants do this, but it didn't really affect my choices- except that I may have ordered a vegetable but figured my entree was expensive enough. After ordering, our salads were pretty promptly served. My friend's salad was beautiful and I was served more beets than I could eat before our entrees arrived. The beets were delicious! My friend's fried perch wasn't heavily battered but lightly breaded. It was a generous portion and she took leftovers home. My broiled shrimp and scallops were fabulous! I had requested light butter and that's how they were presented. There were approximately four large tender scallops with five pieces of shrimp. They were delicious and I ate every last bite! I hadn't eaten much that day and didn't think leftovers would be as good... so enjoyed them thoroughly! I noticed the mixed reviews on Yelp and was somewhat apprehensive but pleasantly surprised that our meals and service exceeded expectations. Please don't hesitate coming here. I can't speak to the poor reviews but can attest to our experience which was pleasant in every way possible. The only slight negative is that the gravel parking lot had shattered glass in the area where we parked. My friend mentioned it to an employee outside on an apparent break who seemed like she was going to take care of it. However, the glass was still there when we returned to the car. We picked up the large pieces of glass ourselves, but that was the only negative we experienced and figured that the employee had gotten busy and must have forgotten. Definitely check out Webber's for a wonderful ambiance and delicious seafood!

Dinner on the patio at Webber's with a friend. I was adventurous and tried frog legs for the first time. It's true, they taste much like chicken just more juicy. The broiled Walleye and sweet potato fries were also excellent! I forgot to take a "before" photo, so that's a mid-meal photo. Trust me, the only thing left on my plate was lemon rinds and frog leg bones!
